Slot Machines on the Computer

Now a days almost all slots in the casino are computerized, so it only makes sense that you can also play slots online. After all, all payouts are fixed, and the thrill of playing slots is to be lucky enough to be the big winner on a machine at the casino in Las Vegas or at a casino online.

Playing slots online is different than in a casino. There are not coins to tickets to cash out when you win, and you don;t even have to leave your house to play. Those are probably the best parts about it. The biggest downside is probably that you don't have all the bells go off with strangers looking at you when you win big... I guess that might be a good thing to though. If you win big, no one will want to rob you :O)

Like most people, I enjoy playing slots online and in casinos equally. Both give you the thrill that you can only get from a slot machine. I combines the experience of a video game with the enjoyment of gambling. The bonus games are great, and that is were you can make a good hit. Maybe not as great as getting 5 across, but I really enjoy the bonus games.

All this talking about slots, and I think that I'll play online now. Less writing, more playing! Good Luck gamblers :O)

Las Vegas Slot Machines

The payback percentages of the Las Vegas slot machines are lower today than they were in the past few years.

This payback percentages overall have gone down in the past five or so years. This is not because of a deliberate decision by casinos to lower payback percentages, but because of the changing mix of machines on the slot floor.

Low-denomination machines are much more popular today than they were a few years ago and they're taking up more and more space on the slot floor.

Having more low-paying, low-denomination machines shifts the overall payback down, even though the casino is still ordering the same payback percentages for machines in each denomination.

Mardi Gras Slot Machines Arrive

After many months of waiting, slot machines are now available at Mardi Gras Racetrack and Gaming Center in Hallandale Beach.

The new Vegas-style slots follow those added recently at Gulfstream Park Racing and Casino.

Voters approved a measure nearly two years ago to allow residents of Broward and Miami-Dade counties to decide whether they wanted slots at pari-mutuels. Broward approved the measure in March 2005, but it was rejected in Miami-Dade.

The Mardi Gras Racetrack slots are planned as the cornerstone of a redevelopment with a million square feet of retail space, a 320-room hotel and high-end restaurants.

Dan Adkins, with Mardi Gras Casino, said that they have installed 1,147 slot machines. But, due to state law, there is no ATM machine in the casino. There is a shuttle that will take players to the nearest bank ATM.

Education in Florida will be a sure winner from the machines since 50 percent of the revenue goes to education. In the first month that slot machines were added to Gulfstream Park, Florida education received $3.7 million.

Basic Strategy for Online Slots Beginners

Online Slot machines are one of the most popular casino games played at online casinos. This is mainly due to the simplicity of the games themselves – almost anyone can play as Slots are not as complicated as games like Blackjack or Craps.

But before playing Online Slots for the first time, there are a few things you should know to enhance your gaming experience.

The first step is to decide what type of Slots you want to play – you have the choice of:

Fixed Slots - these machines have a fixed awards schedule. You know what you stand to win with these machines. Just make note that the awards are not always proportionate to the number of coins played, so make sure you check the award schedule for each machine before deciding how many coins to play. As a general rule, you will win more if you play the maximum number of coins as you can usually win bonus jackpots if you play the maximum number of coins. This does not mean you have to wager more per spin – simply decrease the size of your wager and play maximum coins.

Progressive Slots - these machines have jackpots that increase as more coins are played into the group of machines. There is often no limit to the size of the progressive jackpot. You must play the maximum number of coins to win the progressive jackpot. As a general rule, Progressive Slots have fewer payouts than Fixed Slots as more money is held back to fund the accumulating jackpot.

Your next choice is a very important one – you need to choose where you will play the Slots:

You should play at an online casino that has a bonus program that is attractive – Golden Casino gives new players a $555 bonus on their first deposit and another bonus every month, for free money through out the year.

You should play at a respected online casino – there would be nothing worse than winning a multi-million dollar jackpot, only to never be able to collect. If you only play at large, respected online casinos, you won't have to worry about not getting paid when you win.

The last thing you need to consider is following a Money Management Plan – Slots are hard to beat over the long run, but solid money management will have protect your wins and minimize your losses. Remember, always bet with your head, and not over it:

Consider setting a gambling budget or bankroll for your session and choose a coin amount and number of paylines that suit this budget.

Set a goal – decide if you want to have the best shot at that Progressive Jackpot, or are you satisfied with locking up a smaller win?

Play for brief, fun sessions only – don't play if you are irritated or frustrated. Remember, gambling is supposed to be fun. If it is no longer fun, take a break and try again some other time.
